About the Scientific Committee
The committee consists of prominent members of academia. These are accomplished researchers and scientists affiliated with premier educational institutions around the world.
The committee is in charge of designing the program of STECONF events. As such, they review incoming paper submissions, evaluating each for authenticity, relevance, and originality.
Each submission undergoes a double-blind peer review process. At least two members of the committee review a submission independently.
The committee receives their submission assignments following their preliminary evaluation by the conference organizer, which includes an assessment of the submission for its completeness and academic integrity.

In order to be considered for the position, you must meet all the requirements listed below. Candidates that do not meet one or more of the requirements will be automatically disqualified. These requirements are set up in order to ensure that the high standards STECONF events are known for continue to be met by all upcoming events.- You are a PhD holder. PhD candidates cannot apply.
- You are affiliated with an educational institution or are currently engaged in a research activity.
- Your area of studies is in one of the following fields: science, technology, or engineering.
- You believe in the principles of open-access publishing.
