I am a Ph.D. student and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Natural and Built Environment at Sheffield Hallam University, and also a part of the Social and Economic Research Institute - SERI. I'm working on repurposing construction waste to reduce the environmental impact of building materials, with a special focus on the usage of digital technologies for image-BIM deconstruction. 3D modeling of structures using photos to simulate their deconstruction in the most effective method possible, promoting optimal recovery of components that can be repurposed, reused, and/or recycled.
In keeping with my life's purpose of assisting in the development of sustainable communities, I have worked in paid volunteer roles for UNICEF, OXFAM, the African Economic Congress, DEVATOP, and the Disability Rights Advocacy Centre, among others, planning and executing key projects related to the SDGs. In my Local committee, I am currently the International relations manager for Aiesec Italy.
As a teacher with international experience, I enjoy working with children and introducing STEM skill development groups and learning activities to students in both primary and secondary school.
