My name is Obikoya Ismaila Bamidele, and I am currently a Senior Environmental Geoscientist. I hold BSc in Geology and Mining and MSc in Marine Geotechnics at University of Jos Nigeria and University of Wales Bangor United Kingdom, respectively. Between academic/research periods, I have held various professional positions in environmental geophysics and hydro-geology, including water resources evaluation, management and sustainability, impact assessment studies, and geotechnical analysis, as well as wellsite (oil/gas drilling) operations. I have further interests in energy and environmental sustainability, including climate change and renewable energy, contamination and pollution, and flooding. I am a member of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences, British Hydrological Society, Groundwater Division of the Geological Society of South Africa, American Association of Petroleum Geologists, and Society of Exploration Geophysicists.
